South Rim - Grand Canyon
I am out of the groove... between Augusta, Orlando and the Grand Canyon life has become an endurance event. I am looking forward to the next few weeks at home with some nice recovery on the schedule.
I've thought about this for awhile...hopefully I have something to add. Life is funny and if you live long enough you can learn a lot on the way....it seems I've learned many of my lessons the hard way. I read something the other day that said wise people learn from the errors others have made...."others feel that true learning comes only from personal experience" and that they endure needless pain and distress. The former has been my MO but maybe, just maybe, I am ready to try something different.
I am a triathlete and marathon runner living in Nashville, Tennessee. I own a catering business with a fabulously talented and generous friend named Mary.... I have had the good fortune to know her, and work with her, for over 11 years. The times we live in, and my own wiring, have come together and I am ready to embark on something new and different....change is a little scary but also very exciting and I am looking forward to the future and new adventures!!
I love my friends, my family and my training buddies....they fill my life... the life I have today is big and beautiful and fulland I know it all started with getting sober a few years back. This is what is true for me...it might be true for others, too!
